Winderosa Relocating Business To Peru,
Maine,

"Dixfield -- Rachel W. Carignan, of Winderosa
Manufacturing
and Distribution, has announced plans to move Winderosa'sentire
facility to
Peru. Winderosa manufactures gaskets for
two-cycle
gasoline engines for use in recreational, agricultural, forestry
and
industrial application. It has been located in Dixfield since
1985,
when Winderosa was incorporated and started in-house
manufacturing.
The new site was acquied in January 1996 and renovation to the
14,000
square foot building should be finished by early
summer.
Plans are in the works to start this move in April, with an open
house
to
be held May 28 featuring ribbon cutting and dedication by Gov. Angus
King.The company's gasket distribution operation is networked across
the
United States, Canada and 36 countires around the world. This move
will
enable Winderosa to increase growth and expand its products into new
markets. Winderosa is a member of the Maine International Trade
Center,
the National Federation of Independent Business, the River Valley
Chamber
of Commerce, Maine Metal Products Association and the Society of
Manufacturing
