"Winderosa Mfg. and Dist. Co. USA, Inc, a leader in two-cycle engine
gasket technology,
was joined by Maine Gov. Angus King Jr. for the grand opening and
ribbon cutting of it's
new 14,000 sq. ft. computer controlled manufacturing and
distributing facility in Peru,
Maine on May 28. Gov. King performed the ribbon cutting and more
than 500 supporters
attended the open house.Winderosa is a family run business. Rachel
Carignan, CEO, has
more than 30 years of experience in the small engine market
primarily with two-stroke
engines. Her research and development has kept Winderosa on the
forefront in
application and customer service. Also in attending the grand
opening were Jay
Windover, co-owner and Produciton Manager; and LoLisa Windover,
co-owner and
Distribution Manager.Winderosa is working toward ISO 9000 and 14000
certification,
which is only awarded to companies with the highest of quality and
safety standards. ISO
certification will enable Winderosa to further its international
reputation and distribution
in the foreign market especially in the European Community. Last
year marked the
company's 30th year at it's prior Dixfield, ME. location. Ground
breaking for the new
